Even in neutral the car sits there and does not rolls down the incline of the driveway. Car starts but wont move in gear. Car starts but wont move.

Thanks for the response. If the engine starts and rpm changes when you rev the engine but the car does not move when forward or reverse is selected something in the drive train is broken most likely a transmission failure. Car wont move when put in gear.

Sounds likethe linkage from the little motor that changes gears to the actuall tranny probably went if you jack you car up take the wheel off then remove the plastic splash sheild the gear selector motor should be right there or visible atleast i cant really remeber at this time.
